HOT WATER IMMISSION
Hot water is injected in the capsule through the piercing system which perforates the film.
PREINFUSION AND FILTERING
In the bottom part of the capsule called “preinfusion ring”, coffee is filtered by the hexagonal disc and is gathered in the lower chamber.
COFFEE OVERFLOW
Pressured coffee expands the bottom of the capsule which tips over (pop-up effect) and perforates. Coffee pours from the capsule through reserved ducts.
